Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to announce 10 MW rooftop policy shortly

According to reports, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy will soon announce a policy to facilitate the setting up of 10 MW solar photovoltaic power plants on rooftops of buildings. India Has Estimated Potential for 19,750 MW of Small Hydro Power Projects

The Minister of New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah a couple of days ago informed Rajya Sabha that India has an estimated potential of about 19,750 MW of Small Hydro Power (SHP) projects. According to reports, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approached police to probe a website, which claims to be a government body, on the suspicion that it may be indulging in fraudulent activities by inviting job application for recruitment for various posts, police said today. ICPCI initiative to train solar water heater installers makes progress
