Canadian Solar Expands into India with a 33 MW Solar PV Module Sales Agreement with Cirus Solar Systems

Canadian Solar Inc.  (NASDAQ: CSIQ), one of the world’s largest solar companies, today announced that it has signed a photovoltaic (“PV”) solar module sales agreement with Cirus Solar Systems Private Limited (“Cirus”), a  solar engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) company based in Hyderabad, India. NSL Group May Buy Chile Wind Project for $50 Million

According to reports yesterday,  FE Clean Energy Group , a Connecticut-based PE firm will be investing USD 40 million in NSL Renewable Power Private Limited (NRPPL), part of city(Hyderabad)- based NSL Group. NRPPL will use the funds to meet equity commitments for its various wind, hydro and solar power projects being developed in various parts of the country, a statement from NSL said. Suryachakra Power enters into MoU with SunBorne Energy and Citadel for establishing 5 MW Solar CSP

Earlier last month,  SunBorne Energy Technologies, a solar power developer backed by billionaire Vinod Khosla, was close to arranging 1.5 billion rupees ($34 million) in loans from three banks for its first plant in India.
