    Azure Power of India partners with SunEdison to jointly develop and construct a 15 Megawatt (MW) photovoltaic solar power plant in Gujarat.     Rajasthan Government to install 10,000 Solar Water Pumps

    Rajasthan government has sent a proposal to the central government under the National Agriculture Development Scheme to install 10,000 solar water pumps in water scare areas. According to an agricultural department official a 5HP pump with save about 25 units of electricity daily. This could lead to an annual savings of about nine crore units.     India’s Carbon Credit Market to triple by 2012 to Rs 4000 Crore : CRISIL Research

    A surge in renewable energy investments could drive a tripling of U.N.-backed carbon offsets issued to emission reduction projects in India by end-2012, a report said on Thursday.
