    Azure Power aims to build 100 MW Solar-based power capacity in the next three years; Expects to float an initial public offering(IPO)

    Azure Power of India,  just recently partnered with SunEdison to jointly develop and construct a 15 Megawatt (MW) photovoltaic solar power plant in Gujarat. As part of the arrangement, SunEdison will supply monitoring technologies at cost to Azure for projects up to 25 MW.     According to reports,  Indian government may ask telecom companies to install solar panels to generate backup power for cellphone towers. According to the news, a proposal being finalized  by the ministry of new and renewable energy (MNRE) is aimed at containing the use of polluting diesel generators to provide back-up power.     Pune India based Thermax in tech pact with Germany’s Lambion for high efficiency combustion systems for using biomass

    Thermax is  an energy and environment solution provider based out of Pune, India. Thermax has executed and  commissioned the first ever biomass based IPP set, under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, India. The Kalpatru plant is a 7.8 MW IPP with fuels as diverse as mustard husk, mustard straw, and cotton stalk among others.     Azure Power of India partners with SunEdison to jointly develop and construct a 15 Megawatt (MW) photovoltaic solar power plant in Gujarat.
