Ambiguity around GST hurting project planning: ReNew Power

According to reports, last month, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy put out a year-ender which mentions, among other things, the renewable energy targets for the current year and the next two years. India’s peak power demand to jump four-fold by 2035-36: draft CEA plan

According to reports, India’s peak demand for power is expected to rise from the current level of 153 GW to about 690 GW by 2035-36, according to the Perspective Transmission Plan of the Draft National Electricity Plan prepared by the Central Electricity Authority (CEA). First bus to run on biogas to hit Kolkata roads soon

According to reports, come end-March and the country’s first bus to run on human and animal waste will debut in Kolkata and ferry passengers on the 17.5 km route between Ultadanga and Garia that are 17 kms apart at a nominal fare of R 1 irrespective of the distance covered.
