Inox Wind declines after weak Q4 results

According to reports, Inox Wind slumped 16.98% to Rs 167.65 at 14:43 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit fell 36.6% to Rs 127.54 crore on 44.6% decrease in net sales to Rs 1019.22 crore in Q4 March 2017 over Q4 March 2016. Renewable energy deals decline on falling solar power tariffs

Tata Power Solar, Dell India build vertical solar farm

According to reports,  Tata Power Solar and Dell International Services India have jointly put up India’s largest vertical solar farm of 120 kw. “The first-of-its-kind, 45-metre structure built on Dell’s Bengaluru campus provides the dual benefit of producing sustainable green energy and insulation of the building, thus helping reduce power consumption,” Tata Power Solar statement said. Inox Wind net down 36% at Rs 127.54 cr in March qtr

According to reports, wind power solutions provider Inox Wind’s consolidated net profit dipped 36 per cent to Rs 127.54 crore in the quarter ended March 31. The company’s consolidated net profit was Rs 201.12 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, Inox Wind said in a BSE filing today. Renewable energy companies seek total clarity in solar park auctions

According to reports,  Solar parks have helped renewable energy companies reduce tariffs substantially but some developers are complaining that at times the parks charge high fee and do not provide adequate infrastructure. Gyanesh Chaudhary, CEO and MD at Vikram Solar, said: “Unlike the Rewa auction, there are a lot of unknown factors in other auctions for solar parks.
