Inox Wind consolidated net loss of Rs.39 crore in Q1FY18, vs net profit of Rs. 11.8 crore in Q1FY17

Inox Wind standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 105.9 crore, registering 75.6% yoy decline. EBITDA for the quarter reported loss of Rs. 13.42 crore vs EBITDA profit of Rs.45.5 crore in corresponding quarter previous year Further poor operating performance led to net loss of Rs.39 crore in Q1FY18 vs net profit of Rs.11.81 crore in Q1FY17. KCT Group looks to sell off renewable energy portfolio

According to reports, KCT Group, the Vikram Thapar-led arm of the business house founded by Karam Chand Thapar, is exploring the sale of its renewable energy assets of 103 megawatts (MW), said two people aware of the development. Solar projects’ deadline extended

According to reports, the government has granted major relief to solar power developers, allowing deadlines for project development to be extended in cases where there were delays caused by circumstances beyond their control. Developers had raised an alarm over a letter from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) this month directing all states to strictly enforce deadlines for solar projects, eschewing extensions, as reported by ET on July 18.
