Madurai Corporation to promote solar energy in a big way

BEML inaugurates 200 KW rooftop solar project in Mysore

According to reports, State-run BEML today announced inauguration of a 200 KW grid-connected rooftop solar project in Mysore. “With the installation and commissioning of the rooftop solar project, BEML inches towards achieving the target of utilising 100 per cent renewable energy for captive consumption,” the company said in a statement. ABB India crosses 4.5 GW mark with over 2,000 wind power generators

According to reports, in an important milestone for India’s journey towards 24×7 power for all based on green energy, ABB India on Thursday said it has surpassed the 4.5GW mark with the delivery of over 2,000 wind power generators across the country. Currently, India has installed capacity of 28 GW of wind-generated electricity. Around 10 percent of this was installed in 2015.
