Infosys to set up 7 MW solar plant at Hyderabad campus

According to reports, country’s second largest software services firm Infosys plans to set up a 7 MW solar plant at its Hyderabad campus. Hareon, Dalmia partner for 160-MW PV factory in India

According to reports, Chinese firm Hareon Solar Technology Co Ltd will build a 160-MW photovoltaic (PV) cell production plant in India under a partnership with domestic industrial conglomerate Dalmia Group. The two companies inked a joint venture (JV) agreement through their respective units Hareon Solar Power Pvt Ltd and Keshav Power Pvt Ltd (KPL). Inox Wind Q1 Net up 115% at Rs 50 cr

According to reports, Inox Wind today reported 115 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 50.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015, against Rs 23.48 crore during the same period of the previous fiscal. According to the statement, the company’s total income from operations was Rs 635.83 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs 304.37 crore in the year-ago period. CAG finds flaw in Chhattisgarh renewable energy plan

According to reports, the state-run Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) had inked 104 agreements for setting up renewable energy projects during the Global Investors Meet 2012 but not a single project has take shape. The CREDA executed 104 Memoranda of Understanding with various developers in 2012 for installation of solar photo voltaic power plants (SPVPP) of 5330 Megawatts (MW).
