Solar power may become cheaper than thermal in 2-3 years: India Ratings

Gamesa, Orange Renewable sign up for 250 MW wind power project

According to reports, Gamesa Wind Turbines Private Limited has signed an order for 250 MW capacity Wind Power Projects with Orange Renewable. Of this, 100 MW will come up in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh and the rest in Madhya Pradesh. Promoted by AT Holdings Pte. Welspun adds 52MW in India

According to reports, Welspun Renewables has commissioned the 52MW DC Baramati solar project, which is located in Maharashtra state in India. The project has been developed under a public-private partnership with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company. The power producer has been responsible for part-finance, design and commissioning. Vestas gets 46 MW turbine order for wind project in India

According to reports, Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems said on Wednesday it had received a 46 megawatt turbine order for a wind project in India. The order was for 23 units of the V110-2.0 MW turbine for a wind farm project in the Indian state of Karnataka, Vestas said in a press release on its website.
