Gamesa India gets 80MW contracts from Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh

According to reports, wind turbine maker Gamesa Wind Turbines Private Limited won an order to set up 80MW of wind farms across Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Under this contract, Gamesa would be putting up 25 2.0 MW turbines at Tagguparthi in Andhra Pradesh and 15 2.0MW turbines at Dewas in Madhya Pradesh.

The commissioning is scheduled to be completed by March 2015, and Gamesa would be responsible for the full scope of site development, supply and commissioning of the turbines and operation and maintenance, according to a statement from the company.

The agreement also includes a comprehensive operations and maintenance agreement for 10 years.
