Renewable energy sector to get state help: Madhya Pradesh CM

According to reports, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said all possible assistance will be extended to renewable energy sector entrepreneurs in the state. He was talking to investors of renewable energy sector who had called on him at Mantralaya here on Thursday.

The entrepreneurs included Arvind Bansal and Gautam Chopra of DJ Continuum group, Ashok Dutta of Rison Power, Murli of Orange group, Rahul Munjal of Hero Future Energy, Sharad Saluja of Sterling Agro Industries Limited and Parag Sharma of Renew Power Ventures.

Meanwhile, NTPC chairman Arup Roy Choudhary also called on the chief minister here on Thursday. He urged the state government to make available its coal block for proposed thermal power plant in Khargone district.
