Mytrah commissions 150MW new projects taking installed wind capacity to 460MW

Mytrah Energy Ltd Monday said it had now completed turbines with an average capacity of 150 megawatts across its three new sites, taking total installed capacity to 459.9 megawatts from 309.9 previously.

“All three projects are being commissioned on a rolling basis with the stabilisation process being conducted throughout the first quarter of 2014, which is expected to allow Mytrah to capture the benefit of the 2014 wind season on the full portfolio of 548.1 megawatts,” it said in a statement.

The India-based independent power producer’s three new projects are the Burgula project in Andhra Pradesh, Savalsang  in Karnataka and Vagrarai in Tamil Nadu.

Mytrah Energy shares were up 3.9% at 80 pence Monday.
