RPower ready to start 100mw solar plant in March

According to reports, Reliance Power has started pre-commissioning activities for its Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) project in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer district, the comany said in a statement on Friday. The project is the world’s largest CSP project based on CLFR technology. The 100 MW CSP plant is being built at a cost of Rs. 2,100 Crores, adjacent to the 40 MW solar photovoltaic project commissioned by the company last year. Make money using garbage – scheme by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

According to reports, if everything goes according to plan, garbage will soon fetch money for families in the capital. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is mulling over creating five garbage collection centres in the city, where denizens can turn up with garbage. Samsung SDI Signs Supply Contract with India’s Acme for Energy Storage Systems

Samsung SDI said on November 28 that it signed an agreement with Acme Group, an Indian energy management vendor, to supply 110-MWh energy storage systems for two years. Acme is a company specializing in solar power solutions and telecom equipment. As many as 150,000 mobile communications base stations out of 400,000 throughout India are using equipment manufactured by Acme. India receives Rs 25bn first tranche of Rs 71bn soft loan for green power grid from Germany

According to reports, the plan to create a Rs 50,000 crore green grid to evacuate solar and wind power has got a leg-up with the government receiving the first tranche of a €1 billion soft loan from Germany.
