Sterling Wilson commissions 30 MW solar park in Rajasthan

Sterling and Wilson Ltd. an associate of Shapoorji and Pallonji group,  commissioned a 30 MW Solar Park on 30thSeptember 2013. The
Solar Park is located in Village Berami, Dist. Pali, Rajasthan constitutes solar plants of various sizes ranging from 1 MW to 8 MW, and has been commissioned for 11 different customers.

The company notes that the commissioning was achieved in just 83 days which again reflects the resource mobilisation and execution of Sterling and Wilson.

The company has to date commissioned about 149.28 MW of solar pv plants connected to the grid, and has projects of 200 MW under construction.

The present project is based on the REC mechanism and the developers are availing Accelerated Depreciation benefit too. With the commissioning of 30 MW solar park the solar park has about 10 MW of additional capacity still available.
