Greenko adjusted earnings up 19.9%

Greenko – the Indian developer, owner and operator of clean energy projects – reports increases in revenues and earnings for the year to the end of March.

Revenue increased 10.4% and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased 27.5%, on a constant currency basis.

Reported revenue increased 3.8% to €38.3m while adjusted EBITDA increased 19.9% to €32.8m.

Chief executive and managing director Anil Chalamalasetty said: “We are pleased with last year’s progress. We grew EBITDA 20%, improved the margin from 74% to 85%, and increased generating capacity by 70% to 309 MW. As of today, we have 806 MW operating or under construction and are well on the way to our 1,000 MW target.

“Our focus for the current year is on commissioning a further 250 MW of new wind power capacity, and we continue to see great opportunities for renewable energy in India’s rapidly developing power market.”
