Wind power to light up Kochi’s Marine Drive walkway

According to reports, enforcement of solar power obligation was “equivalent to tariff increase’’ without seeking consumers’ views and should be enforced only after a public hearing, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Consumers’ Association (TECA) has contended. India Power Corporation Ltd to add 100 MW wind capacity this year

According to reports, two companies of the SREI group — India Power Corporation Ltd and DPSC Ltd — are likely to be merged into one entity this year. India Power Corporation Ltd (IPCL) is a Rs 60-crore company that has 100 MW of wind power generation capacity, in Karnataka, Gujarat and Rajasthan.
