Suzlon Gets $117 Million Turbine Order for German Wind Projects

According to reports, Suzlon Energy Ltd. (SUEL), the wind-turbine maker involved in India’s biggest convertible bond default in October, sold 90 million euros ($117 million) of systems in Germany. Suzlon’s REpower Systems unit will supply 27 turbines for four community wind projects in northern Germany, according to a statement today from the Pune, India-based company. DRDO harnesses wind energy, differently

Avail loan to install solar system now by Corporation Bank now

According to reports, Corporation Bank will now give micro-finance loans in southern state for installation of solar home systems, lightings, street light systems and solar based power plants, only if it manufactured by ‘Solid Solar’, a sister organization of Gautam Polymers. Streetlights of Udupi to go green with LED bulbs

According to reports, in a bid to save electricity in city municipal council (CMC) limits, Udupi CMC has taken up a green initiative to replace street lights with LED (light-emitting diodes) bulbs. Emmvee bags order for 2MW solar project of MLR Industries

According to reports, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, a solar module manufacturer and turnkey solution provider won an order to set up a 2MW solar photovoltaic project for MLR Industries. MLR Industries, an associate of Bambino Agro Industries, is one of the largest vermicelli producers in South East Asia.
