MNRE Sets Target of 30,000 MW Capacity addition during 12th Plan

ABB expands production of solar inverters to India, books 200 MW order

ABB  has expanded the production of its solar inverters by opening a production line in India to support the rapidly growing local photovoltaic (PV) market. The first orders from new production line have been delivered already and over 200 megawatts (MW) of orders is booked. Suzlon dropped out of the FTSE global indices on the London Stock Exchange

According to reports, Tata Consultancy Services, India’s biggest IT outsourcer, is likely to be the biggest beneficiary on account of the re-balancing of the FTSE global indices on the London Stock Exchange. Welspun Energy commissions solar project in Rajasthan

According to reports, Welspun Energy today said it has commissioned Asia’s largest solar power project in Rajasthan ahead of schedule. India’s biggest developer of solar projects commissioned 50-megawatt solar power plant at Jodhpur district. Welspun, which had earlier this year started a 15 MW unit at the site, has now commissioned two more units of 15 MW and 20 MW solar generator, the company said in a statement.
