Wind power firms petitions PM to ‘save’ industry

According to reports, the Indian Wind Power Association (IWPA) has appealed to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to reinstate incentives to wind power manufacturers that the Centre had withdrawn in the last Union budget, to increase private investment in the wind energy sector. Inter-ministerial panel has submitted report on National Solar Mission: Govt

According to reports, an inter-ministerial committee, set up to look into allegations of violations of the National Solar Mission (NSM) guidelines, has submitted its report, the government said today. “An inter-ministerial committee was constituted to inquire into the allegations made in a magazine regarding violation of guidelines of the NSM. NABARD Loan to Solar Energy Projects

National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is acting as an agency for release of subsidy/refinance for Solar Home Lights and Solar Water Heaters under Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission implemented by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India.
