Gamesa India bags 75MW Order from Goldman Sachs funded ReNew Power

Gamesa Wind Turbines Pvt. Ltd., the Indian subsidiary of Gamesa, has  bagged an order from ReNew Wind Energy (Jath) P Ltd. a subsidiary of ReNew Power Ventures Pvt. Ltd. for commissioning 74.65 MW of wind turbines. The order includes 50 MW of G97 – 2.0MW and 24.65 MW of G58 – 850 kW machines.

The order from ReNew Power was issued earlier this year and the project will stand complete in this financial year as per the contract. The machines will be installed in Maharashtra.

This is the largest order for the G97 2.0 MW platform in Maharashtra. This turbine has been especially designed for low-wind sites and was launched by the company earlier this year.
