According to reports, the European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with the Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster (CCC). The MoC would help bring clean technologies to address environmental issues from the European Union to India and encourage collaboration between the two countries.
The agreement was signed at a Cleantech event – ‘Water, Wasterwater and Green Buildings’ organised by the EBTC in collaboration with the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Wednesday.
“Denmark is a leader in clean technologies, and through CCC, is keen to provide Cleantech solutions to India, while EBTC has the mandate to promote Cleantech business and research from the EU to India. Together, CCC and EBTC can work to identify projects, undertake their execution, and facilitate research and innovation related to clean technologies in the energy and environment sectors,” said a press statement issued by EBTC.
