Solar power puts Modi, US on one platform

According to reports, Chief Minister Narendra Modi “dedicated to the nation” 600 Mega Watts (MW) of on-grid solar power plants on Thursday at the Gujarat Solar Park in Charanka village, Patan district, with representatives of various international agencies and the US government pledging future support. India’s Largest Solar Program Won’t Follow Federal Import Curbs

Gujarat has 749 GW of renewable energy potential: TERI

According to reports, Gujarat’s overall integrated renewable energy potential is estimated to be around 748.77 GW. Solar powered water pumps to be set up in Nashik district

According to reports, the Groundwater Survey and Development Agency (GSDA) plans to install 18  solar-powered water pumps in the district, along with 82 electricity-powered solar pumps to enable lifting of water from borewells at the cost of Rs 2.95 crore.
