India one of the top performing clean energy economies: Report

According to reports, with India receiving $ 10.2 billion investments in clean energy, the country has emerged as one of the top performing clean energy economies in the 21st century, an eminent American non-profit organisation said in a report. Awards announced for Indo-US Joint Clean Energy Research and Development Center

According to reports, the Union Ministry of Science and Technology today announced the selections for three consortia projects under the Indo-US Joint Clean Energy Research and Development Center (JCERDC). Long road ahead for India’s malls to go green

According to reports, an average shopping mall in India that occupies an area of 100,000 sq. ft to 500,000 sq. ft, consumes between 120,000 litres and 600,000 litres of water a day. It also consumes roughly 250 kilowatts of power per square metre in a year. Suzlon seeks fresh loans to avoid FCCBs default

According to reports, loss-making  Suzlon Energy, which urgently needs to repay $569 million to bondholders by October, has begun talks with key banks for raising money amidst signs of wariness among some lenders.
