Suzlon arm bags wind turbine order from US company for wind farm in California

According to reports, REpower Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of  Suzlon Energy, today said it has bagged a contract for delivering 25  wind turbines from US-based enXco. US developer  enXco is an EDF  Energies Nouvelles company. “REpower Systems SE has concluded a contract for the delivery of 25 wind turbines with enXco. Orient Green Power subsidiary to set up 300MW wind farm in two phases

According to reports, Beta Wind Farm Pvt Ltd, which is is planning to set up a 300-Mw wind project, has decided to split the project into two phases. While 156 Mw would come up in Tamil Nadu in the first phase, Phase II relates to implementation of 144 Mw in Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, according to the company. NABARD to release subsidy upfront for promotion of solar power usage

According to reports, to promote usage of solar power in the district, the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is to release subsidy ‘upfront’ against the credit sanctioned by banks for installation of lightning and water heating systems. As an encouragement to banks, the NABARD will also be refinancing entire outstanding (excluding the capital subsidy). Karnataka Energy Dept lifts stay order on bidding process for solar projects

According to reports, the stay order placed by the State Energy Department on the tender process for developing solar projects under the Karnataka’s Solar Mission has been lifted.
