MPIL Steel offers turnkey solutions for rooftop solar power systems

According to reports, MPIL Steel Structures Ltd will offer turnkey solutions to install rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems on pre-engineered buildings. Mahindra & Mahindra plans solar charging stations to fuel electric vehicles

According to reports, home-grown automobile major Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is looking at solar-powered charging stations to fuel electric cars. The company, that offers electric cars under the Mahindra-Reva brand, says the group will create the necessary infrastructure to run electric cars. Okhla waste to energy plant to come under green scan

According to reports, For the next three months, the Delhi environment department and Delhi Pollution Control Board (DPCC) will intensively monitor operation of the Okhla waste-to-energy plant. Andhra Pradesh plans to buy 2 GW of power a year up to 2016

According to reports, with demand for power mounting, the Andhra Pradesh Government will buy 3,000 MW of additional power worth Rs 7,083 crore this year. It approved a plan prepared by Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation Ltd (APTransco) and APPCC (AP Power Coordination Committee), to meet short-term and medium-term demand in the State.
