Hydrogen-powered three-wheeler makes debut in India

According to reports, The world’s first hydrogen-powered three-wheeler, ‘HyAlfa’, was showcased at the 11th Auto Expo here on Monday. Part of a development project dubbed ‘DelHy 3w’, a fleet of 15 HyAlfa three-wheelers will run on an experimental basis at Pragati Maidan, where a hydrogen refuelling station has also been set up. 5 solar power units to be set up in Andhra Pradesh

According to reports, Anjani Power Generation Private Ltd will set up four solar power units in Andhra Pradesh. Each of the units will have a capacity of 5 MW. “The company has received Central Government permissions to set up these units,” Mr Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister for Information Technology (Andhra Pradesh), said. “This will go a long way in meeting the ever growing demand for power in the State,” the Minister said. Power Ministry of India to finalise Rs 5 billion smart grid pilot projects soon

According to reports, the Power Ministry is likely to finalise about eight smart grid technologies-related projects on pilot basis worth nearly Rs 500 crore in two months. The basic idea of a smart grid is to improve overall efficiency of the power sector, especially in transmission and distribution segments, with the aid of information technology. Rajasthan to have four solar parks of 1GW capacity each: Gehlot
