JP Morgan invests Rs 1 billion in Formula One Driver Narain Karthikeyan’s green power company

According to reports, JP Morgan Asset Management has recently invested Rs 100 crore in Leap Green Energy Pvt Ltd, a company promoted by India’s ace motor racer Narain Karthikeyan’s family. Suzlon wins 120 MW order in western USA

Suzlon Wind Energy Corp., the North American subsidiary of Suzlon Group the world’s fifth largest wind turbine maker, today announced the sale of 57 Suzlon S97-2.1 megawatt (MW) wind turbines for a large wind energy project located in the western United States. Gujarat Solar developers pitch hard for extension of six months

According to reports,over 30 companies had filed petitions with GERC seeking extension of control period.Solar power developers, who have committed their projects in Gujarat and have inked PPAs for the same, have demanded six months extension in the deadline set by the state government for commissioning of their solar power projects in the state. GAIL delivers cheaper break on gas deals

According to reports, GAIL, the natural gas major, has contracted an import deal from a US-based company for deliveries from 2016-17 at a price far more competitive than the usual benchmark for such deals.The country’s biggest gas marketer has contracted import of 3.5 million tonnes annually at what is known as the Henry Hub-benchmarked price.
