According to reports, Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) is proposing to revive Sriram Energy Systems and Bio methanisation plants as part of its New Year plans.
The corporation has invited tenders for revival of the Bio methanisation plant located at Ajithsingh Nagar to utilise the bio gas generated from the 40 MD and 20 MLD STPs. The proposal would be finalised by March 31. The Sriram Energy would be revived under the Jawarharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) programme.
