Indarya Green Power proposes integrated energy park in Gujarat

According to reports, Indarya Green Power is planning to commission integrated renewable energy park in 2000 acre in Gujarat. Proposed park will house 300 MW solar power generation capacity and 25 MW wind-mill project in the first phase.

The company is claiming have chalked out an investment plan to the tune of Rs 4,500 crore, which includes manufacturing facilities of solar photovoltaic panels with capacity to produce 500 MW SPV panels per year. This park will also house research and development facility for renewable energy.

“Our Global vision is to setup 3000 MW solar in the Asia Pacific Region by 2014 and it would be controlled from Gujarat through remote controlling thru satellite technology. It is controlled by GPRS software whereby we check the status of every panel connected towards the power plant.

If in case of any fault occurring in any panel the software deducts that and sends the alert messages right from the service engineer till the director technical level to handle and report the situation. This will actually help the company to provide quality output at a much reduced cost and this unique feature will assure the maximum power production,” read the media statement issued by Indarya Green Power.

The company has identified location at Abdasa Taluka in Kutch district of Gujarat for proposed project. It is claiming to have completed technical survey and the company management have found Kutch district suitable for renewable energy park with integration of solar, wind and biomass energy.

On Monday morning, Indarya Green Power MD – India Operations Jagannathan inaugurated the Gujarat office at Bhuj. The company also organised a job fair at local engineering and polytechnic colleges at Bhuj to employ 90% of its workforce from Gujarat.
