To harness clean energy, India to seek foreign funds

According to reports, Taking a step ahead in its fight against climate change, India has selected four projects to seek funding from the international Clean Technology Fund (CTF) supported by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. Suzlon wins second Sri Lanka order from Senok

According to reports, Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL), world’s fifth largest and India’s largest wind turbine manufacturer, won a repeat order from Senok, Sri Lanka to supply 10 units of Suzlon’s S88 – 2.1 mega watt wind turbine generators, aggregating to 21 mega watt of wind power capacity. Tata Power crosses 300MW wind power capacity in India

According to reports, Tata Power, India’s largest integrated private power company, has crossed 300MW wind power capacity installation in the country. Tata Power’s wind farms are spread across four states namely Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the leading states in promoting wind power generation in India.
