Persistent Systems invests in windmill

According to reports, Persistent Systems, an outsourced software product development company has invested in a 2.1 MW windmill turbine at Dhule, Maharashtra, as part of their green persistent movement.

The wind turbine purchased from Suzlon Energy has started generating electricity which is being supplied to the Maharashtra state electricity distribution company ltd grid at Gangapur sub-station. The 2.1 MW wind turbine will generate 37 lakhs units of power on an average annually. The wind turbine is optimally installed to derive maximum benefit for generation of power.
