Schneider Electric India bags order worth Rs. 1.1bn

According to reports, Schneider Electric India today announced that it has bagged orders worth Rs. 110 crore to supply turnkey power and automation solution for three photovoltaic solar power plants in India. All three photovoltaic solar power plants have a combined capacity of 22.3 megawatts (MWp).

The orders comprise of two 5MWp photovoltaic (PV) solar power plants and one 12.3MWp photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant. On completion by end of December this year, these plants will have an annual generating capacity of up to 35Gigawatt-hours of electricity.

Schneider Electric India will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, installation commissioning of the plants and will deliver the turnkey electrical and control solution. These solutions include supply of all components except modules which will be supplied by the customers only in these projects. The equipment is designed to minimize power losses and maximize efficiency offering best-in-class efficiency Inverters and technologies for the accurate control and remote monitoring of the plant. Schneider is also providing complete operation & maintenance to its customers with generation guarantee.
