India Installs Solar Energy Systems at Parliament House Complex

The Parliament House toady took a major step towards sustainable energy when Lok Sabha Speaker Smt. Meira Kumar inaugurated a 80 KWp Solar Photovoltaic power plant and a 2000 liter per day solar water heater system at the Parliament House Complex in New Delhi. Gammon Infra sells its 50% stake in 8 biomass projects and buys stake in 6 biomass projects

Gammon Infrastructure Projects Ltd. said it had sold its 50 percent stake in the 12-MW operational biomass power plant of Punjab Biomass Power Ltd. at Ghanour to its joint venture partner for a cash consideration. Bharat Renewable Energy Forms Alliance With SG Biofuels to Deploy Jatropha Hybrids for Biodiesel in India

Bharat Renewable Energy Ltd (BREL), a joint-venture of Bharat Petroleum, India’s second largest petroleum company, has initiated a program with SG Biofuels (SGB) to develop and deploy elite hybrids of Jatropha for the production of biodiesel in India.
