Wipro EcoEnergy has been active in signing up a number of EPC contracts for projects allotted under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission and under the Gujarat state policy. Sources have told Panchabuta that Wipro EcoEnergy is one of the most competitively priced solution in the market and about 10-15% lower than the best price offered by other reputable Solar EPC companies.
NexPower in April signed an agreement for the supply of 36MW silicon thin-film modules to Wipro EcoEnergy.
In May this year, Du Pont Apollo Limited (DuPont Apollo) announced that it has entered a strategic supply agreement with Wipro EcoEnergy, the cleantech business of Wipro Limited, India’s leading global technology solutions company, to supply high-performance, silicon-based thin film tandem photovoltaic (PV) modules for Wipro EcoEnergy’s upcoming grid-based solar power projects.
