J.v.G. Thoma group closes contract for solar photovoltaic assembly plant in India

J.v.G. Thoma is Germany’s leading supplier of turnkey PV production equipment, lines and plants, as well as technology and consulting services related to renewable energy, based in Freystadt (Bavaria).

J.v.G. Thoma announced that they just closed another contract for set-up of a turnkey PV production line in India.

“The new plant installs manufacturing capacity for six million modules per year”, J.v.G. Sales Manager Ludwig Thoma said. “The new production line will assemble high quality and high efficiency solar and BIPV panels for the local Indian market, thus spreading our patented, German- made equipment and manufacturing processes further into the Asian markets”.

Engineers from J.v.G. Thoma did attend their new Indian customer throughout the whole project and will continue to do so during production ramp up until robust production throughput is achieved.
