Moser Baer Solar Limited (MBSL) provided TUV Rheinland certified, 465 KW Crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar modules to La Salle, a leading real estate investment management company in Japan towards commissioning of rooftop solar installation on its warehouses.
Apart from this, MBSL has supplied more than 2800 KW modules making it one of the important non-Japanese suppliers of solar modules in the very demanding Japanese market which is dominated by the Japanese brands like Sharp, Sanyo, Kyocera, etc.
MBSL has been exporting about 90 % of its production to over 32 countries across the globe under its own brand in last 3 years. With the booming Indian solar market, MBSL will now focus to develop the domestic market. In addition to the large part of its 50 MW Thin Film capacity, the Company will now allocate a significant portion of its expanded 200MW capacity of Crystalline Silicone capacity to meet the domestic market requirement. These initiatives will help meet the requirements emanating out of National Solar Mission and States led solar policies domestically.
Speaking about this major achievement and Company’s solar thrust, Vivek Chaturvedi, Senior Vice President, MBSL, said: “Having proven ourselves in demanding markets like Germany, Italy, France, UK, Japan etc, we believe it is the right time to extend our global expertise to nurture the growth of Indian solar industry. Our expanded capacity and global experience will play a key role in the country achieving its ambitious target set in National Solar Mission.”
